You value our cage-free environment and the personalized attention your pet receives. Please understand our policies to make the grooming experience enjoyable for everyone.

Cancellation
We understand that schedules change and appointments need to be canceled. If you need to cancel an appointment, we require 24 hours notice. Any appointments cancelled within 24 hours are charged 50% of the grooming fee. If you need to cancel an appointment, please call or text 727-600-3247.

Vaccinations
It’s our goal to provide a pleasant and safe experience for you and your pet. Please have your veterinarian email your pets vaccinations (or letter of exemption) to info@gulfbeachesgrooming.com. We require updated bordetella, Parvo, and rabies for dogs; FVRCP and rabies for cats; and rabies for ferrets.
Fleas
Every once in a while, our funny loving furry friends can get fleas. In addition to the grooming, we offer flea treatment. Flea treatment is $15 per pet.

Early Drop-Off and Late Pick-Up
Time is tight and it can get away from us all, and there are instances where you may need to drop-off your pet early or are running late to pick-up your pet. Please understand that there’s a $15 per pet charge for any early drop-off or late pick-up 30 minutes outside of the scheduled grooming appointment.
We hope you understand our policies. This was done with careful consideration to give each pet the best experience possible. We are so grateful for you and for your trust in us. We look forward to building a relationship with you in the months and years to come.

Not quite mom and pop
Since 2014, Gulf Beaches Grooming has experienced wonderful growth. The business started by operating out of another grooming shop on Seminole Blvd. In 2017, they moved to a location in Madeira Beach. And in 2020, the business continues to grow and has since moved in to an even larger location in Bay Pines. Jeff and Ruth are excited about the move because of state of the art grooming facility, beautiful retail space, and ample parking for their amazing clients.

Our Story
Jeff was an apprentice for a master groomer and has over ten years of hands-on grooming experience. Ruth’s background is in music education where her bands received national recognition.

Jeff and Ruth wanted to start a business based on Christian values. They believe that God loves us unconditionally, no matter what a mess we are. The same love exists in our dogs. Regardless of how our lives are going, dogs love us anyway. They are little image bearers of Gods love, like tiny lighthouses.
​
In 2014 Jeff and Ruth decided to start their own dog grooming business after learning about the poor treatment dogs were receiving in other grooming facilities. Being cage-free is something they are very proud of.
​
When Jeff and Ruth were married in 2014, in lieu of wedding gifts, they asked for investments from their friends and family to start Gulf Beaches Grooming and the rest, they say, is history.
